Occupational Therapy aims to enable individuals to participate in daily living activities independently and to the fullest extent.
Children who did not meet the expected developmental milestones, overly sensitive or under sensitive to sensory stimulation, struggles with handwriting, coordination or following the classroom rules and routines, have difficulty with communication or social interaction skills, have behavior issue, have difficulty in regulating emotions, or children with medical conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Learning Disability, Down Syndrome and other related conditions.
Parents should consider to bring their child to see an Occupational Therapist if you notice any signs and symptoms such as Developmental Delays, Difficulty with Fine Motor and Gross Motor Skills, Sensory Processing Issues, Challenges with Activities of Daily Living, Social Interaction Challenges, Difficulty in Performing School Tasks and Medical Conditions such as ASD, ADHD, Down Syndrome or any other condition that affect daily performance.
When a child is referred by doctors or receives concerns from teachers.
